I got the Windows Media Player 11 completely working on Windows 8.1 Update 1. The Apps will not work anymore, after it. So, if you don't interesst, whether the Apps work or not and you want to use the WMP11 on Windows 8.1, tell it to me and I'll give you the files and a tutorial.

Windows 8.1 here actually looks like Windows Vista
